Americans have an abiding belief in their ability to control reality by purely material means… airline insurance replaces the fear of death with the comforting prospect of cash.

I have to admit, I thought the idea of Halloween costumes for dogs was a little silly, until I watched your videos. What a hoot! Next year, I’ll have to try it, but I’m not sure my Samoyed will stand for it. She doesn’t even like wearing a collar. Very indepdent, that breed.

  16. Julie from organic dog treats says:

Thanks all for your great comments! I appreciate all you have to say :) I haven’t really thought about Christmas costumes for dogs, but maybe…

Regarding the Danielle’s Pomeranian, sorry, I don’t know. I have a short hair and a medium length hair dog. No experience with long hair.

Thanks again! Julie, Sydney and Zoe

Formulate and stamp indelibly on your mind a mental picture of yourself as succeeding. Hold this picture tenaciously. Never permit it to fade. Your mind will seek to develop the picture…Do not build up obstacles in your imagination.

  25. My work is throwing a dog halloween costume contest picnic. I was thinking of making her an inmate costume (like the classic monopoly “go to jail” man), but I’m not set on it. Any ideas? thanks..

  26. alisa from uniquedogcollars says:

Great story. Dogs are such loyal friends so this is very good info

  27. kenton says:

Success in business requires training and discipline and hard work. But if you’re not frightened by these things, the opportunities are just as great today as they ever were.

  28. Would it be inappropriate to ask some door to door Mormons where they got the Reservoir Dogs costumes?

  29. Sunlounger says:

Where can I find a place that makes custom dog figurines?

  30. I think they are cute as long as they don’t put the dog in danger from trying to eat something off of the costume or getting overheated. I tried to dress my dog as a moose last Halloween and he was more interested in chewing the antlers off of the costume than wearing it. Needless to say, the costume did not last very long.

  31. These are great costumes for dogs. It’s good to be able to take your dog out with the family for Halloween fun and even more fun if they are in costume.

  32. It’ll be good to be able to take the family pet dog out trick and treating next Halloween. He’ll certainly look better in his costume than I will in mine. Bet he’ll get more treats to, I won’t mind, really I won’t, Much!

Great dog costumes, thanks for the ideas.

  33. My neighbour has a dashund that is a complete ham and loves attention. I couldn’t resist buying this costume for the two of them. When she put it on the dog, she not only looked absolutely adorable, was the talk of the town! The only problem was that we had a hard time convincing her not to eat the buns. The costume is so authentic looking, she thought it was a dog toy.

  34. Andrea from Wii Fit Girl says:

I want a costume for my cat, i don’t sure about what is the best choice..any idea?

  35. Jonny from Bosch 24v battery says:

I always like the idea of dressing my dog up as Yoda, brilliant!!!! :)
